Rôle et responsabilités

• Serve as the technical reference for new product development and existing range pieces, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and timeline specifications.
• Manage novelty projects, multisourcing initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Oversee budget tracking and project progress, providing arbitration proposals for any roadblocks encountered.
• Collaborate with the jewelry expert and project team to guide products from conception through to commercial launch.
• Draft specifications and risk analyses, contributing to technical risk mitigation plans.
• Lead and validate technical development phases in collaboration with workshops.
• Propose and challenge technical solutions for design and manufacturing.
• Ensure coherence between new products and existing range items.
• Compile and validate technical dossiers.
• Manage multisourcing projects from framing to pre-series validation, coordinating with internal Boucheron services and workshops.
• Propose and implement standardization projects for products, components, and fittings.
• Act as the primary contact for technical inquiries, managing technical documentation for products in development and in range.
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to internal activities and workshop operations.

Qualifications requises

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a methods, production, or design engineer in jewelry, watchmaking, or a similar field.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Project-oriented with the capacity to adapt within a growing department and manage associated challenges.
• Proactive, autonomous, and innovative.
• Proficient in CAD tools and PLM systems.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel.
